“Therapy that meets you where you are — online, walking, in nature, face-to-face, or even in the barber’s chair.”

Clippsychology – Shaping your future

Born from my 24+ years of experience as a barber, I’ve often witnessed a remarkable phenomenon: people tend to open up while getting a haircut. There’s something about the relaxed atmosphere, the absence of direct eye contact, and the familiar routine that makes conversations flow naturally. This insight inspired me to create a therapy model that harnesses this dynamic to help individuals explore their feelings and experiences more naturally and less intimidatingly.

“Clippsychotherapy” is inspired by the word “clipper,” the tool used in cutting hair. It reflects the blending of hair clipping with psychotherapy to create a unique, innovative model of care.

By integrating the familiarity and comfort of a barber’s chair with the depth and professionalism of therapy, Clippsychotherapy offers a distinctive space where meaningful conversations and personal growth can unfold.

This approach combines the practical and symbolic act of “clipping” — refining and shaping — with the transformative process of psychotherapy. Just as clippers carefully trim and sculpt hair until a desired and polished style is achieved, Clippsychotherapy gradually addresses and shapes emotional and psychological challenges.

Each session becomes an opportunity to “clip away” the unhelpful thoughts, patterns, or burdens that no longer serve you, revealing a more authentic and empowered self.

Much like a haircut, therapy is about transformation — creating a sense of clarity, confidence, and readiness to face the world. Clippsychotherapy embodies this philosophy, offering a safe and supportive space for self-discovery and growth.
